For the relief of symptoms of medically diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome.

Mintec capsules contain peppermint oil, a naturally derived anti-spasmodic, which provides relief of symptoms of medically diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome such as abdominal pain and mild spasms.

They are enteric coated, meaning the capsules pass through the stomach, delaying the release of the peppermint oil until the capsule reaches the bowel.

Directions:

1 capsule swallowed whole with water 30 minutes before meals 3 times daily. Do not take immediately after food.

Warnings:

Mintec is not recommended for use in pregnancy and should only be taken by adults.

Mintec is not recommended for use in children unless on the advice of a doctor.

Mintec may cause heartburn (symptoms may be exacerbated in patients with pre-existing heartburn).

If you develop this symptom, stop taking the capsules and see your doctor.

Peri-anal itching or burning has also been reported on occasion.

Very rarely, patients may be allergic to Mintec.

If you do have any unusual symptoms after taking Mintec stop the treatment and contact your doctor as soon as possible.
